Audi Japan appoints Geometry Ogilvy Japan as new Brand & Creative Agency of Record

Audi Japan has appointed Geometry Ogilvy Japan (GOJ) as the new Brand & Creative Agency of Record, effective January 1, 2023. GOJ will partner with Audi Japan to modernize consumer engagement, further enhance brand image, and endeavour to ultimately become the leader in premium e-mobility.

As the Brand & Creative Agency of Record, GOJ is tasked to lead the development of Audi Japan’s local brand strategy, map the entire customer experience, and guide Audi across the intersections of brand and consumer engagement.

“We are excited to partner with Geometry Ogilvy Japan to further uplift our brand. From the outset, GOJ has fully grasped the ethos of our brand, and have already begun adding value to our business. This, along with their vast global network and existing ties with our brand in key markets around the world, make for a perfect partnership going forward” said Ryan Blumrick, Marketing Director, Audi Japan.

Ichiro Ota, CEO of Geometry Ogilvy Japan commented, “We are grateful and humbled by the opportunity to partner with Audi Japan, as Audi is a progressive brand that is leading the way in premium electro-mobility. We look forward to applying our knowledge and experience to support Audi by playing an instrumental role in shaping the brand’s transformation.”

The alignment to Geometry Ogilvy Japan builds on wider Ogilvy office engagements with Audi, following the recent North America win for the Ogilvy Group in May 2022. The relationship in Japan has already commenced with the recent Audi Q4 e-tron launch event held last November. Full operations as Audi Japan’s Brand & Creative Agency of Record have commenced from January 2023.
