VML & Ogilvy Japan’s Para-Athlete Hiromi Aoki Wins at the World Climbing Para Series Salt Lake City 2026.

We are thrilled to announce that our para-athlete, Hiromi Aoki, has won first place in the Women’s B1 (Visual Impairment) category at the “World Climbing Para Series Salt Lake City 2026”, held from May 15-16, 2026, in Salt Lake City, USA. Following her victory at last year’s World Championships, this latest win once again demonstrates her exceptional skill and dominance in the sport.

【Hiromi Aoki Profile】
A top athlete who leads the Japanese paraclimbing world and continues to take on the world’s walls. Since discovering paraclimbing 17 years ago, she has consistently competed on the global stage. In 2025, she achieved her long-awaited victory at the Paraclimbing World Championships, a monumental achievement that made her the first Japanese woman to become a world champion. She is also a nationally licensed practitioner of Anma, massage, shiatsu, acupuncture, and moxibustion.
